Quiet Riot finally lives up to the “quiet” part. Lullaby Versions of Quiet Riot from Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star takes two defining ’80s heavy metal anthems and turns down the amps for the nursery. “Cum on Feel the Noize” and “Metal Health (Bang Your Head)” are stripped of roaring guitars, pounding drums, and arena-rock vocals, leaving their recognizable melodies to be recast as peaceful instrumental lullabies. Music box versions of both songs add an even more delicate, nursery-inspired sound. Made with the littlest rock fans in mind, this compact collection offers hard-rock parents an alternative to traditional baby music for rocking, napping, bedtime, or simply calming things down. The songs still rock—now they’re just more likely to send someone to sleep than make them bang their head.
